Description

IC405 The Flaming Star Nebula The Flaming Star Nebula is a combination of emission and reflection nebulae illuminated by the unusual variable star AE Aurigae. The nebula is a large 37' by 19' across, and its brightest portion sits east of the star. IC 405 lies 1,500 light-years away.

I collected this 4.5 hours of data as a fill-after imaging M33 recently.4.5 hours if data is far less than what I need to produce an acceptable image, but weather and life events continue to delay data collection.I couldn’t resist toying with the data though!
